What is Tantra?

Tantra is a Hindu mystical or magikal tradition that dates back to the 6th or 7th century. It exists both in the spiritual realm and in the physical flesh, embodying the union of Shiva and Shakti—the divine masculine and feminine balance that resides in us all.

Tantra is the awakening and activation of Kundalini energy, which flows up and down the spine, unlocking electromagnetic frequencies and allowing unimpeded energy flow through us, free from the blockages of past trauma. This process resets our divine DNA, enabling us to expand energetically and liberate ourselves through the manipulation of cosmic love energy.

The Path to Enlightenment

The ultimate goal of Tantra is bliss consciousness, oneness with the source, self-realization, and can include attainment of supernatural wisdom and abilities. (This is not our soul purpose)

It is a mystical exploration of life’s mysteries through the wisdom of the union of god/ Goddess , Shiva/Shakti within. We are often assisted by divine beings, deities ,spirit guides and other non-corporeal beings.

While Tantra does involve practices of divine union, which can include sex magik, it’s important to note that very few practices for achieving supreme divine consciousness require sexual acts. Tantra is about freeing ourselves from ignorance, mental bondage, and earthly suffering—ultimately leading to union with the divine and oneness with all.

Tantra as a Sacred Technology

Tantra is a technology for expanding and liberating consciousness, freeing us from the false limitations of the mind and allowing us to experience true, ecstatic freedom. Most great masters throughout history were or are Tantrics, or at least have practiced Goddess worship.

Despite its powerful and transformative nature, many Westerners mistakenly associate Tantra only with sexual play. This misconception comes from a lack of deep, meditative study of its practices and lineages. While sacred sexuality play parties have their place, they are not Tantra. Tantra does not aim to create attachments to sensory pleasures, but rather to help you discover inner unity, potency, and bliss.

The True Practice of Tantra

Tantra teaches us to control and utilize sexual energy for divine purposes. It is a sacred science designed for enlightenment. While there are left-hand rituals that involve sexual energy, these are reserved for advanced practitioners who have mastered the ability to hold the “current” in their spine through years of practice.

True Tantric transmissions are difficult to understand without guidance from a trained practitioner, one who embodies refined Kundalini awakening, or Shakti. Ascended masters and spiritual guides have dedicated their lives to making these teachings accessible, but it requires devotion, practice, True love of Devi and reverence.

It is easy to embody this once you feel the pure ecstasy of the goddess energy.

Embracing Tantra for Radical Transformation

Anyone with an open heart and a deep desire for radical self-transformation and expanded awareness can now learn Tantra. Spiritual powers are a natural outcome of the practice, but the true purpose is to be enveloped in the divine bliss of the goddess or “all one” consciousness, the true essence of our existence.

Life becomes a celebration of pure joy as we walk the spiritual path of Tantra.
