The Mysterious Fluid that Grants Immortality and Enlightenment
What is this mysterious fluid that grants immortality and enlightenment? The food we eat, the tissues of the body, the biological humors, and other bodily constitutions are important, but that will be for another article.
It begins at Bindu ~ a point or dot. There can be three Bindu points, but we will focus on the pineal region. It is deep in the brain, located between the left and right hemispheres. This also connects to the region of the crown chakra and the pituitary gland when one’s meditation and breathwork have deepened through practice. At this point, Bindu also extends to the spiritual heart.

Bindu is a dimensionless center. Its full name is Bindu Visarga — the falling drop. It is the seat of nectar. The moon produces this intoxicating secretion. It is an immortalizing fluid, the life of a Yogini or Yogi. Located at the back of the head, there is a small pit at the top of the brain containing secretions that exist in the physical body. Only two or three drops are available, and this is in the pineal gland.
Bindu is symbolized by the crescent moon. It is a glimpse of supernatural potency at the crown chakra (Sahasrara), transcendental and supreme enlightenment. It represents Oneness with Source, pure bliss. The Beej mantra Aum is the sound associated with it.
Bindu fluid is related to male and female semen or ova, and these sacred fluids are the starting point of creation. They create magic and manifestations.
The process of Bindu is connected with the throat chakra (Vishuddhi). It moves through a network of nerves, flowing through the interior portions of the nasal passages and passing through a minor chakra called Lalana, which is responsible for the secretion of this sacred fluid. The nectar is manufactured in Bindu, stored in the Lalana chakra, and excited by Khechari Mudra (a ritual gesture involving the head, eyes, breath, and tongue).

The nectar trickles down from Bindu (pineal gland), stored in the Lalana chakra, and then passes down to the throat chakra. There are two paths of Bindu:
•Pavritti Marga Path: Looking to the outside world, it always leads away from self-knowledge, which results in bondage.
•Nrivitti Path: Looking inward, starting to face Bindu. This is the spiritual path, the path of wisdom. This path leads to freedom, which is the purpose of yoga.
Nrivitti leads through Bindu to the crown chakra (Sahasrara), the oneness with universal consciousness. This is the goal of moving sacred fluids and tantric union to connect with the divine within.
How to Embody This Practice:
•Do the Neti Pot for purification.
•Practice the tantra yoga and live a sattvic life.
•Contemplate sacred Tantric texts.
•Practice breathwork and meditation.
Then comes the union of duality and other magical practices. I feel there are parallels here with Western alchemy and the Philosopher’s Stone and the balance of mercury/sulfur, Sun/Moon.
